The Noble Co Drainage Board has a process for landowners to obtain written permission to be closer than 75-feet to a county regulated drain, with a structure. The cost for the variance application is $50.00. Once the application is submitted to the Drainage Office, it will be added to the agenda for the next time available for the drainage board to review/and or approve. To fill out the form, open the file in a PDF viewer (like Adobe Acrobat) and type your information into the required fields. Then print, sign and turn in your application along with payment.

If you would like to connect a private drain to a County regulated drain (tile or open ditch) please fill out, print and submit to the Surveyor's Office.
